6 days in china feel like 5 days. everyone is saying that the SIA is cheating our money. haha..nvm. first day we went to eat first. the food was very salty and oily. its just like cooking vegetable and oil together. after that we went to tian an men square. the place was really big but we are only allow to take a look outside. lots of people walk around taking photo and selling hats and books. really pity the people there. i dont think they earn much selling hats. but everywhere we go there will be people asking to buy hats. many soliders were marching at the tian an men square but when we tried to talk to them they juz march away. one of the poilceman say that they are doing their duty so they cant talk to anyone.We check in to our hotel only at night. me and grace took one room and shenny and yanling took another. we keep going to each other rooms and talk. there is a small shop beside the hotel where we always buy some tibits and drinks then we will go to shenny room and have pinic.haha. grace and my room is the biggest but not really big. we sleep really late everynight at about 1am.
second day we went to the great wall! that day was really cold 16 degree. then everyone was wearing jacket except shenny.haha. her hands were really cold. the great wall was divide into 5 seprate parts. we climb one of them. darn! It was so long and the steps is very high about 50cm. and the slope almost going to be 90degree to the ground.haha. me and shenny climb the fastest. there are lots of shops along the great wall. we climb together with hafiz and silas. when we reach the top there is two stalls selling soveniers and other is photos. i took a photo with shenny at 15yuan. then the shop keeper make it into a keychain. hafiz ask the shopkeeper "ni de ming zi shi she mo?" then the shop keeper say he is "xiao er" haha.then hafiz abit blur "small two?" then the shopkeeper laugh. then hafiz was so cute, he say "wo jiao xiao san, small three" haha. then shenny is xiao si. we ask how the shopkeeper get so high to work everyday. he say he climb up everyday. we was so shocked. we took almost 1hr+ to RUN up and he need to climb up everyday. we ask what is the faster way to get down. the only way is to take the rollar coaster down or walk down. It was very cold up there, the wind blow and we were shivering. when we were about to walk down, the rest of team reached. me and shenny get down first. remember i say the slope was almost 90degree to the ground. and both of us ran down the slope. we almost fall as we cant brake.haha. we hold hands and run down then reached the roller coaster. we sit down and wait for hafiz and silas. then we took the roller coaster together.
the next day we when to a high school. it was a famous school in beijing. teacher told us before going to china that we will have a buddy there. but when we reached, teachers tell us that some of us will have 2 buddy. but we only bought one sovenier. ms chew say give the other a singapore coin. i got 2 guys. shenny and grace also and yanling got guy. my buddy is realy talented at poker magic. he wear a jacket, listening to his mps and holding to a pile of poker cards where ever he go. he play some magic for us then walk around the school. It was really huge. 7 floors in total. each level for different subjects. they have a basement just as big as a normal carpark. It was only just for bicycles!! the students ride their bicycle to school everyday. but only some are allow as the do not have enough space for all the bicycles. the bicycles were squeeze neatly in the carpark. everyday there will be one person from each class to arrange the bicycle. if the bicycles were not neatly arrange, the class were minus point. tats what the principle said. their school hall was big and have aircon! so jealous. and they have seats like a concert hall. after visting the school we when to yaxiu market. bought some shirt for me n my elder sis. bought a shoe for my smaller sis.
next day we went to another school. it was 10times as big as ours. the students there was so cute. we took photos with them and we perform and sing-along.we when to the yaxiu maket again. it just like another bugis street but it is in a shopping center. nothing to buy there actually. didt buy much.
The last day finally. we when to shop at the a shopping center. the things very expensive there. shenny saw a cap she really like but she don have enough money left. so we went off and yaling bought a shirt for her sis. i bought a shirt and a mini cup for si jia.haha. i think she dont know yet. giving to her on monday. we went to gordano and saw 3 shirt for 88yuan. it so cheap. it about 16+ dollars for three shirt in singapore. i bought 3 and give one hot pink de to shenny coz she dont have enough money le. i got a pink and a orange one. bought some sock also. 3 24yuan. mean 1 for 2 dollars in singapore. haha. bought a blue, pink and yellow. me and yanling told them that we are going to toilet but we went back and buy the cap for shenny. she was shocked. hahax. after that we went to eat and go to airport to take the fight home. mr thomas(our tour guide) sent us there. he was very patient and caring. we love him alots.
